“To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be his holy people: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 1:7 (NIV)
Paul’s letter to the Romans, commonly known as The Book of Romans, lays out the concrete foundation of Christianity, without which no Christian may be able to withstand the machinations of the devil. Paul’s letter answers the basic Christian questions like:
- What is salvation?
- What does it mean to be saved?
- How can I be saved?
- How can I live the life of the saved?
This is the kind of knowledge that every Christian needs to grasp in order not to be misled by perverted teachings.
The Book of Romans is not your usual kind of Bible commentary. Instead, it is a serious attempt to convey Paul’s teachings in as simple a way as possible, to the end that many might find the book easy to read and understand. The book is therefore suitable even for pre-teens.
All Bible verses quoted in the book were taken from the New International Version (NIV).
In addition to The Book of Romans, the author authored the following recommended Christian short reads:
